About Appeak
Practical ASO guidance, with a visible standard behind it.
Appeak builds tools and services for app-store growth and publishes field guides for teams working on iOS and Google Play visibility. This page explains who is responsible for that content and how it should be researched, reviewed, and corrected.
Evidence before numbers
Statistics, algorithm claims, policy changes, and benchmarks should link to a source readers can inspect. If a number cannot be verified, we remove it or describe the observation qualitatively.
AI assists; editors remain accountable
AI may help with research organization, outlines, and first drafts. It is not treated as a source. Articles must be reviewed for factual accuracy, source quality, originality, and commercial bias before publication.
Clear commercial context
Appeak provides ASO-related products and tools. Insights articles are written to teach first. Product references should be relevant, limited, and distinguishable from independent evidence.
Corrections and freshness
Material corrections should be made promptly. Articles display publication and update signals, and time-sensitive platform guidance should be reviewed when Apple or Google changes its policies or ranking systems.
Editorial policy
Authorship
Individual bylines use a real, publicly verifiable writer or reviewer and their actual role. When an article is reviewed collectively and no individual byline is appropriate, we use the transparent organizational byline “Appeak Editorial Team” and remain accountable through this policy and our corrections contact. We do not invent contributor names or credentials.
Sources
We prefer first-party documentation from Apple, Google, and other platform owners, followed by transparent research with a stated methodology. Every factual article should include a sources section with direct links and retrieval dates.
Review process
Drafts are checked for search intent, unsupported claims, conflicting advice, source quality, and duplicated coverage. Generated drafts remain unpublished until this review is complete.
Corrections
To report an error or request clarification, email hello@appeak.net. Include the article URL and the claim that needs review.
